This new upcomming Splinter cell is said to be more unique than the other splinter cells with you relying on blending in with crowds etc (sort of like assassins creed)
Than the usual stay in shadows for half an hour..

now
on to the important part
Whats our opinions
Will this be another let down like Splinter cell double agent compared to Chaos Theroy.
Or will this be something good

Personally some of it looks good to me like throwing people over tables and smashing chairs off peoples heads

But as we seen with Dead Rising, its enjoyable at first, but then it gets old

Its like he's baiting me!

"Let down like Splinter cell double agent compared to Chaos Theroy."

I hope your talking multiplayer and not single player!

As for Conviction its funny to hear the same people who slammed Ubisoft for not making Chaos Theory or Double Agent that much different to previous entries now complaining that Conviction and its changes "won't be Splinter Cell".

I think it'll be a nice change of pace (as far as I know its a one-off PC/360 exclusive) and will give Sam a chance to go all Jack Bauer (he's even got his own Bauer Bag!). Plus the combat system looks fluid and intuative enough to not become stale like Dead Risings. Of course this all moot since we've only seen a very small glimpse, its got me intrigued though.

I'd agree I wasn't at all disapointed with the single player SCDA but the MP was a big let down :(

I reckon the next one will be quality they just need to totally re-do the MP IMO.

All im hoping for is a very good online multiplayer on Splinter cell Conviction so we can have clan matches etc :)

I can't get enough of Splinter Cell, the characters are easy to warm to and any game where you're a spy interests me, so the "Assassin's Creed approach" seems a nice change and from what I've seen it isn't going to be like DEAD RISING

I shall be getting this game no matter what for one reason alone and that it's Splinter Cell, I did like the DA multiplayer and was very good at it (well when I was a merc), but then again I only did player matches and just used shoot randomly when I saw a spy, funny when you killed them because they just seemed to drop from the roof like a spider
