Like it says, what words of comfort do you find most irritating?

I personally (based on a bad break up from a partner) can't stand to be told that there's plenty more fish in the sea, it seemed to be the words i got told most and i couldn't stand hearing the same thing for a very simple reason, i was devasted at what my ex did.

Anyways what words of comfort irritate you, and why?

I know this guy Monty he is one insenitive mofo when it comes to words of comfort.

We were all round this guys huse whos nans in hospital. The phone goes he answers it, hears news of his nan, he gets off the phone and tells us they think his nan is now stable to which Monty replies " what is she?? a horse??"

Later that week my mate tells us he lost his nan in the night to which monty replies "she might turn up in the morning, she'll be in the last place you look"
